A lot to say...

So I have had thought of a lot of topics to write and discuss, but I just never got around to doing it... until now... expect a few posts... It's now 1:47 AM and if I pass out, there may not be as much posts as I'm anticipating...

ANYWAY...

So I want to start with Patrick Dempsey... aka McDreamy... I will admit that at first I didn't really care for McDreamy as much as everyone was... but after watching a couple of movies with him in it, like Enchanted, and seeing previews for Made of Honor... He has begun to grow on me... He is pretty cute, all things considered, and not to mention an extremely nice guy. I think he's just overall the whole package. I can't wait to go and see Made of Honor... :)

A few thoughts... about American Idol

David (Archuleta) vs. David (Cook): I strongly believe that this is what the competition will leave us with... the Davids battling it out to the end. I still have a thing for Archuleta, but I REALLY like Cook as well. They're both HOT (As I've only said numerous times before) and they both have EXCELLENT voices! Cook reminds me of Josh Groban a bit... and I love Josh Groban! Archuleta has his own soul and voice which I'm in love with! He is truly the American Idol... he can rock any type of song!

So I'm very excited to have all my shows back! I just watched the return of Gossip Girl... talk about juicy!! What an interesting turn of events...

Well I think it is going to get quite interesting! :) It's so funny... living here in New York, I wish that I could have the social life of the rich, but then reality sets in. I want to have the home in NYC with a staff of people... lol - I'd love to be able to blow $120 on LUNCH!! But all is well...

I will state for the record that I am quite satisfied with my life.... I got my tax return back and finally got myself out of debt, with the exception of my car payment and insurance!! Either way, I owe no one else! :)

So... as of right this minute, things are looking up for me... This can of course change in a matter of seconds... but I am going to bask in the glory of this moment for as long as I can...

What would you do with 9.4 million dollars?

So I was reading this article somewhere and a woman sued her insurance company and won a whopping $9.4 Million!

It got me to thinking, what would I do with that amount of cash... First and foremost, I know I would secure my immediate family. Pay off for my parent's house, my sister's house, get myself and my 2 brothers a house and also fly my grandmother here to live with us permanently. After spending what I estimate to be about $2.4 then I would work on starting my major computer firm, which would be publicly traded and hopefully be a success. I envision it to be a large firm, which would bring millions of jobs to Americans who desperately need it and not outsource to places like India. Yes, it is probably cheaper and bringing India in good standing, but we cannot close our eyes on our homeland. I don't know how much this would entail, but assuming I have investors backing me, possibly $3 million out of pocket.

That leaves me with $4 million that I may use for charitable foundations. First and foremost, the Save the Children Fund. What they're doing is nothing short of amazing and I would probably donate the majority of the money left to them. I, of course, would also make sure that the Make it Right foundation get some money as well to help rebuild New Orleans.

Now with the hope that my corporation took root, I would be raking in the dough in which I would be able to use to survive my daily needs as well as have additional money that I can donate to charities or possibly start another major company, bringing more jobs to Americans and getting our economy stable.

WOW! I'm beginning to sound like a presidential candidate! LOL! Well... I guess that's what I would do... how about you?

American Idol Gives Back

Ok... I am a bit delayed, but only by a day. I missed it last night, but had it on my DVR and when I happened to browse iTunes today and noticed that my favorite song, "Don't Stop the Music", was performed, I purchased it, blasted it in my car, and then came home and watched the whole thing.

I seriously cried about 100 times while watching that! I seriously want to give everything that I have, down to the clothes I'm wearing now, to everyone that was showcased on AIGB. It's an eye-opener to see how bad it is here in the USA, farmore outside countries. The one thing that I admire most is that throughout our own issues, America still finds a way to help out others as well.

This AIGB really got to me this year. It made me really begin to think and take appreciation for everything that I have. I may bitch about the lack of money and I am honestly feeling it right now, but there are so many things that I have and take for granted. For example, I have a nice, decent-sized home to live in, a bedroom of my own with a queen size bed, a leiu of computers and other technologies... I can go on forever. There was coverage of a family in Kentucky that just ripped me apart. Randy and Paula went and visited a family who was living in a mobile home (I think) and they had a small area to sleep and the conditions were just horrible! The children looked forward to going to the afterschool program because they have access to a computer, books, and other things like electricity. These small things we take for granted.

Anyway... before I begin crying again... I was really impressed and I truthfully hope that I can make a difference in the world one day, just as it was made last night.

Now--- moving on... I will be honest... I haven't been following American Idol too much since David Hernandez's departure, but I must admit that I am quite satisfied with those left. I am still routing for David Archuleta, but I am seriously LOVING David Cook now. After the performance at AIGB, I am so loving him. He really changed his look, all for the better, and I'm just wowed! He got super sexy overnight and his voice is excellent!

After the Davids, next pick is Brooke and then Carly. After her, it's all just whatever!! lol - But anyway... that's it for now.. found some hot photos from the performance of my new hottie, David Cook. I also included the YT video performance... why? Just because I love that song!!!

Well it's a work in progress. It's now 2:04AM and as Karen Walker once said, "I could hump a tree" and believe me... I surely can... With that said, I'm going to 'play' for a bit and then get myself off to bed!

So the place I work for offers education courses to become an official certified person of something that shall remain anonymous to protect the anonymity of my identity.

Anyway... we offer classes in which anyone can come and take to become certified. The next morning, the two, I guess, became friends and walked in together. The Intern (I think)

Just beautiful

So my parents get the AARP Magazine... they're not THAT old... just started to get them...

Anyway, it just so happens that this current issue has a feature with Jamie Lee Curtis in it. It also just so happens that they left the copy of the magazine in the bathroom next to the John, so while I was in there making a few transactions, I decided to browse through the magazine.

I ended up reading about this beautiful woman who is currently 101 years old. The photo of her was just so beautiful. I read the article and it turns out she is even more beautiful on the inside. Her day consists of waking up at like 4am and making breakfast for her family. The village she lives in is very small and is very big on family and their values. They're not materialistic like us Americans. Money isn't the backing of why they get up every morning.

I read the entire article and thought it was just amazing. I can't stop saying how beautiful the entire thing was. I've included the link for the online article, for those inquiring minds. I guess it says something if you can't see the beauty that I am speaking of...
