We made history and changed the world!Senator Barack Obama is officially been elected to PRESIDENT Barack Obama! I dreamed it, predicted it, and it has happened!
He is going to be the first "black" president of America! Finally, in today's day and age, it's about time that American keeps true to it's foundation of FREEDOM and get away from the stereotypes!
No matter what, black, white, tall, short, I honestly voted for Barack mainly because of his ideals. I am beyond excited!
Imagine that Barack won FLORIDA!! That's so DAMN huge!! I'm soooo happy!!!
I truly hope that Barack makes the changes we need. America has successfully surpassed the segregation of color. This is truly something for the history books!
Now we need to focus on all the fellow gay and lesbian men and women. One fight has been won, but the war is not over. I support everyone in California who is against proposition 8 and all for proposition 2. I have been looking at the news, in hopes of hearing something, but it's all about Obama now.
I truly hope that Prop 8 isn't passed and that Prop 2 is! Anyone in California? Please let me know. I'm sure that Ellen will tell us tomorrow. I hope it is all good news!
That's it for now!!
God Bless America!! :)
xoxo,
Jared!!

Honestly, this is aCLOSETEDgayboy, and while I commend you on your support against proposition 8, in a way, it paradoxically contradict itself because you are either too afraid or too unconfident to "come out." Now, I'm not trying to judge you; you have your reasons, and they very reasonable. I just wanted to point out this observation I made. I sincerely think that once you come out, you may feel that the world is against you, but you will feel so much better and so much freedom, than you have now. I guess this is a special journey for everyone who is gay, and it needs to happens under one's own terms, but it just seems that as long as you stay closeted, you stand against your own "gayness."
Well to respond to your comment, I do understand what you mean. Just because I don't admit that I am gay doesn't mean I'm standing against gays... I choose not to eat beef but I'm not standing against anyone who chooses to. It's a free country, right?
I do understand what you mean though. I hope that by standing up for what I believe as being right, others may join me. If it means that I'm deceiving them and portraying myself as a straight supporter, oh well!
There are many reasons for me remaining in the closet and I surely hope that one day I can come out, but right now, it's not a possibility. I have been tempted so many times to just blurt it out, but I literally bite my tongue!
Oh the continuing saga of a boy who just wants to be himself! :)
Thanks for reading my blog! xoxo
