Merry... I mean Happy Holidays...

So I had to post it... It kills me every time I hear someone say "Happy Holidays!" - yet I catch myself doing it all the time. Just say it... "Merry Christmas" -- whether or not you're catholic, the mere fact that a total stranger is wishing you a "Merry" anything, you should be happy and enjoy the comment and not get all politically correct. To me, it's bullshit!

I remember growing up where it wasn't the ultimate sin to wish someone a Merry Christmas, whether or not they celebrate it. I'm not Catholic, yet I'm very well known as 'Mr. Christmas' on my block... why? Well my house it lit up like an airport and I pump music... CHRISTMAS music outside from the time my lights go on to when they come off. It's a bit insane, but my neighbors enjoy it and ask me every year "Where's the music?" if I don't put it on soon enough.

Continuing my original thought... I remember growing up and going to my mom's office because they had Santa visiting. This one time, they had Mrs. Claus come and make us write a letter to Santa himself!

Nowadays, kids don't have that anymore. Companies have become so security obsessed and so strict with everything, to me, kids today are deprived of such things. I wish that everyone would take the sticks up their asses and just go back to the way things were when I was younger!

Well that's the end of my rant for now... lol...

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!! :)

Just a quick note/shout-out!

I just wanted to say really quick, mainly b/c it's 2:10 AM and I have work at 9AM ...

I wanted to post a quick shout-out to I guess my one and only reader, Jon! I love the comments and I love is overall personality that I've perceived from those said comments! You seem like a great person and I wanted to let you know that!

A final farewell and an apology

So first, I would like to apologize for not being on this for quite some time. I made a commitment to blogging and I plan on keeping it! I do realize that I don't have too many readers, but for those who have some interest, I must maintain my obligation.

Next on the agenda- It is with great sadness that I must say goodbye to Greece. It was the most amazing two weeks of my life and it is something I will never forget. Aside from all of my sexual innuendos prior, I must say it was nothing short of spectacular. The country was beautiful and seeing the ruins in front of me was the most spectacular thing! From walking the streets of Monastiraki and Plaka, to hiking up from Monastiraki to Acropolis, to going to Megaro Mousikis to see the orchestra, and to riding the Metro almost every day to get to my destinations... I will hold it all close in my heart. I will truly cherish the time I've spent in Greece and I absolutely hope that I can return some day and see the things left unexplored for me. I would recommend anyone to go and visit Greece if you can! I was practically crying on the flight back home!

Speaking of the flight, I have to say that I LOVE Lufthansa! Their flight service was great and the eye candy they provided was excellent! Our flight attendant was absolutely gorgeous. I think I popped wood a couple of times... mainly because it has been over two weeks since I fooled around... ANYWAY... he was absolutely cute! I attempted to take a couple of shots with my iPhone... so here they are...

So yeah... I thought he was absolutely gorgeous! I wish I could meet him in the bathroom! :) LOL

Well I am back home now in New York, so with that said, I must go and return to my over-busy life... decorations await my gay self, and by gay I mean happy, to go and put them up!
